Inventory List and Costs

As I mentioned in design requirements, I tried to use only widely available low cost components available on Amazon or in Home Depot.

The Frame
- (4) 2x4 Studs (spend some time to pick 4 nice straight studs)
- A single plywood sheet
- (2) Steel "C-Channel" bar from Home Depot
- (2) Seats - the most cost effective option I found was Fork Lift Seats for $80 each
The Drive train

How to cut costs
- I think the cost of $160 (2x80) for 2 seats is an extreme overkill, I did find cheaper boat seats (2 for $109), but those does not have a reclining back (which is very convenient) and sliding rails to adopt the position for adults and for kids.
- Wait for sales event - the cheapest price I found for a motor+controller was $80.
